water which weirdly looks like fire sprouting from the side of the stage

my red starlight [:fireworks!

this year's one was the most enjoyable one so far. great location and it wasn't hot and stuffy like the national stadium. since its at marina bay, it brought in the seabreeze. yups so it was rather cooling [: daddy was given vip car label. some vip indeed. stupid thing made us park at suntec city (luckily thats complimentary) and walk all the way to the sitting gallery. which was like so far away.. had to walk through marina square. and damn they were having great national day sales!! ): so tempting but we were already going to be late so couldn't pop into any of the stores ): oh and everywhere was a sea of red. haha and we blended into the crowd [: right so even though we were going to be later, we went to meet sharkie who was eating her lunch at xinwang hongkong cafe. and we decided to grab a bite too xD the food was yummmmyyyyyyyyyy [[[[: so after eating, we went back to join the crowd and walked to the sitting gallery.
aha then i saw one last purple funpack left. and i get tugging at mummy and whining that i want the purple one. and AMAZINGLY the guy heard me! and he gave me the last purple funpack! wheee [: yup so we finally got everything and climbed up to our seats.
heh the parade was quite fun. had different things this year like the cool navy display stuff [[: yup but of course the fireworks were the best part! [[: beautiful. i managed to capture most of it on video by my phone camera. shall upload it later [[:
hah so after the parade we had to walk back to suntec and we passed by marina square again. haha so this time we went shopping [[: desiree is a happy girl. she got 3 pairs of new shoes [: LALALA
