something i learned from sailing.. accumulated from over the years of sailing experience: its not the process of the race that really matters. its the end result that does. thats what people remember you for and not what you did during the course of it.
so mummy thinks that i didnt pray hard enough for good luck. but i dont believe luck is everything. how far can luck bring you? well thats something i wont want to test but if luck is the key to winning.. then luck is perhaps what i need.

the case of referee kayu is not only commonly seen on a football field but also on the waters out at sea.. the number of stupid things the od did this weekend is rather accountable. but if you want me to get started then.. let's start of with day one race one. hmm so laying marks aint an easy job but dude you volunteered for the job? so shouldnt you have at least a skill to set the course right? laying a mark next to a huge ship? wth i thought that would be totally nursery for you.. yea so you want to get things over and done with.. hmm so yup i totally agree that using ships to give directions to the markboat person is a great idea. but laying the mark near the ship is totally not. especially when the mark is in the windshadow of the ship and the sailors get stuck there. and hence we have to use illegal means to propel our boat and wouldnt that totally defeat the purpose of having an on water jury? moving on to day two race two. HOHO yahhoo the race of my day!!
haha yay applied what uncle sommai taught me so i went to the storm cloud and BOOM i got header and major wind shift (: gained like mad then the storm and rain came.. whoots was sailing in the rain visibilty was poor but that wasnt really the problem.. well this windshift helped me to jump 10 positions to first placing which in my case is a good thing.. so off i went leading the entire fleet when BOOM the wind dropped like madto a mere 3 knots i would think.. and i got stuck in a no wind patch. wth. then best of all the wind swung 180degrees. in anycase, any od in a right of mind would have chosen to abandon the race but this particular od didnt. oh well what is one to do if your fate lies on such people?
still haha i guess i m not complaining. there's always another regatta.. haha although it wont be for another three/four months or so. haha but patience is a virtue (:
right on a happier note today is national day!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE (:
yeepie haha later going for national day parade.. and damn i will be missing the rain special on chn 55. dang i really wanted to watch it. haha but im gonna tape it down HAH so i can watch it when i get back. wheee. get to see keira gong later. haha hopefully she's pretty haha. (: lol dang i just remembered that today is wednesday.. so i'll be missing singapore idol. but not a big lost i guess. haha. rain is more important (:
haha ooohh yesterday we had national day celebrations in sch! it was quite cool lar. haha gan and i were like super high for some reason.. haha yay and we jumped! (: haha then after celebrations i had stupid speech day rehearsal. it was a total waste of time. haha sailors were doing sudoku.. and i didnt manage to complete my puzzle.haha but i will someday.. HAHA.. right and mrs shirley tan really pissed me off. ohman this is what she said "young lady you better do something to your hair!" like wtf my hair doesnt even touch my bottem collar. my fringe is totally legal. and its not my bloody fault that my hairband chose to break right. so you rather i tie up my hair and act like a crazy messy freak? go and die lar argh.

right forget bout that woman. anyway so after the rehearsal brenda and i went to watch lakehouse!!! omg keannu reeves is total eyecandy!! (((: and sandra bullock though has aged still looks great!! (: wheeee the show totally rocks and its super super sweet. :D right so after the movie we went to far east! and for once i can say i m satisfied!!! i finally got my beloved polka dotted hairband with a cute ribbon on it! haha wearing it later to the parade! wheee. and i got shiny big loop earrings! ((:yayayayay and they were super cheap!! haha yay i saved money!! yayayayay..
